Here at RCLA It's our mission to inspire creative learning in the community from one of the largest purpose built studio spaces in Sheffield.

Our versatile space is ideal for a range of multi media, production and performance courses.

With our highly qualified, experienced and professional staff, we offer a variety of courses from private tuition in Music, Drama and English, to preparing students for NCFE qualifications.

Rosaria Tormey

- Drama & English Department -

"Hello my name is Rosaria or you can call me Rosie.

I am a professional English, Media & Drama teacher with extensive experience across many teaching platforms. I am extremely versatile in my approach to teaching having vast experience of teaching students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. I have taught English under many qualifications including: Functional Skills, GCSE & A- Level. I have taught the following Media courses: BTEC, A- Level, GCSE. I have also taught Drama & Theatre Studies at the following levels: GCSE, A-Level, Undergraduate, and for a T.V/Drama agency

Max Restaino

- Music Department -

"Hi everyone my name is Massimo but most people call me Max.

I am an established Singer, songwriter, composer, Music producer and a multi-instrumentalist from Sheffield. I have a wealth of experience working with some of the biggest names in show business from Gary Barlow, Donny Osmond, Geri Halliwell and even Peter Kay.

I have toured all over the UK and have appeared as main support act for Rebecca Ferguson on her 20 date performing at some of the UK's most prestigious venues. "

Lawrence Giles

- Music Department -

Hi guys, my name is Lawrence but most people call me Lawrence ! Ha

I am a professional musician & educator with a wealth of 10+ years professional experience.

I have worked with industry leading companies all over the world, some of which include: P&O Cruises, BBC, Strictly Come Dancing and many more. During this time I have been lucky enough to work alongside Craig Revel Horwood, Rebecca Ferguson, Clem Curtis , Peter Howarth and perform at some of the UK's top venues.

Our Facilities

RCLA is one of Sheffield's largest independent learning academies situated in the heart of the city.

Our purpose built academy has everything you need all in one place to allow your creativity to flow and see you succeed with your learning.

What's unique about RCLA is our centre is housed inside a large renovated church specifically designed to utilise every inch of the space available. The venues unique features with stain glass windows, exposed wood beams and open plan performance theatre space enhances creative flare and productivity.
